The Freight Claims Representative will be responsible for problem pallet, as well as reporting inbound shortages, inbound damages, and freight claims pictures. The Freight Claims Representative will ensure the logistics center meets the requirements set by vendors when reporting claims, to minimize financial loss to TD SYNNEX.

Overview

Performs to standards in multiple functions within the Logistics Center to include Managing and reporting overages, shortages, and damages.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required:

• Rotates from function to function within logistics center to include researching and reporting inbound claims, researching lost product, entering data, maintaining picture databases, and keeping records. (40%)
• Interacts with vendors, carriers, and our corporate offices through professional emails (40%)
• Operates material handling equipment (10%)

Other Duties & Responsibilities:

• Performs to standards in multiple functions (i.e. performance, safety, quality, attendance, housekeeping etc) (5%)
• Performs additional duties as assigned (5%)

Qualifications

Experience:

• 1 to 3 Years of relevant work experience in data entry or similar experience

Education & Certifications:

• High School Diploma required
• Associates Degree or some college preferred
• Warehouse equipment experience preferred

Working Conditions:

• Distribution center environment may include: exposure to extreme temperatures, high noise levels, dust, high places, humid conditions and outside weather conditions
• Occasional overtime as business requires.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Possesses clerical and data entry skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
• Able to use relevant computer system applications at a basic level.
• Able to be organized and prioritize daily work
• Able to communicate professionally to internal and external stakeholders
• Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency
• Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.
• Able to maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting internal and external business activities.
• Able to transport up to 50lbs
