Outbound Travel Consultants (Job-Training will be provided):

Position Summary:

• Make air, hotel, car, or tour arrangements as requested. Individuals must focus on delivering exceptional customer service at all times. This job description is not intended to contain a comprehensive listing of the activities, duties, or responsibilities required of the position; additional activities, duties, or responsibilities may be assigned.

• Responsible for completeness of air process from air bookings to final confirmation

• Monitor airline ticket costs and reservations to determine if budget goals are being met and air blocks, if used, are efficiently utilized

• Provide the highest degree of customer service within a strong team environment

• Maintain necessary proficiency for correct operations of all SABRE booking and ticketing and interfacing with Outlook and other IS applications as needed per program

• Notify Supervisor of any special attention or customer service issues

• Complete program ticketing as instructed

• Research destination as needed for success

• Coordinate and assist with Group or FIT travel and SABRE related bookings as specified

• Excellent communication skills

• Sound judgment with attention to detail

• Time management

Tour Operations (Job-Training will be provided):

Position Summary:

• Make air, hotel, car, or tour arrangements as requested with local land operations.

• Responsible for completeness of air & hotel process from bookings to final confirmation

• Provide the highest degree of customer service within a strong team environment

• Maintain necessary proficiency for correct operations of all SABRE booking and ticketing and interfacing with Outlook and other IS applications as needed per program

• Notify Supervisor of any special attention or customer service issues

• Research destination as needed for success

• Coordinate and assist with Group or FIT travel

• Excellent communication skills

• Sound judgment with attention to detail

• Time management

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required:

• 2 years Travel industry experience in office operating computer including MS Word, Excel, and e-mail systems.

• Communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking) at the business level

• Basic mathematical skills and knowledge

• Problem-solving and organizational skills

• SABRE or other GDS experience preferred

• Familiar with airline processes and procedures

• Basic understanding of domestic and Intl fares and ticketing

· $3000.00 per month or above (depending on experience)
