We have an immediate opening for a Mechanical Engineer (Entry Level). Our team of manufacturing engineers research, design and enhance in-house custom machinery for the many fabrications our customers require for their belting applications. We are always looking for new technology, designs & equipment to make us more efficient and increase our capabilities so that we may continue to set the bar high in this robust and competitive industry.

Responsibilities:
- Function in a support role capacity, projects will initially be of limited complexity.
- Transform initial rough product designs or concepts into working documents using Solidworks (3D).
- Tasks will include final model completion, detailing parts, creating BOM’s & 2D drawing, creating purchase parts lists, and generating parts & material requisitions.
- Own facility layout projects and production part drawing needs using Draftsight (2D).
- Take work direction from engineering project leads.
- Learn and utilize 3D printing technology. (Raise 3D Pro3)
- Demonstrate an interactive and hands-on approach to engineering, spend time on the shop floor to learn the people, industry, processes, and equipment.
- Drive a continuous improvement culture with emphasis on safety, automation, and best in the industry solutions and technology
- Learn & Support Lean and 5S efforts
Requirements:
- Experience using 3D modeling software, such as Solidworks or Inventor.
- Experience in 2D CAD software is a plus, such as AutoCAD or Draftsight.
- Problem solver, creative thinker, self-motivated, organized, positive attitude.
- Function well on a team, able to engage and contribute..
- Desire to learn and develop your skills.
- BS in Mechanical Engineering preferred, but not required. Related studies may also apply.
- Experience is a plus in PLC Programming, Automation or Mechatronics.
- Effective communication both written and verbal.
- Occasional or limited travel is required.
- Belting and/or rubber knowledge is not required.
