TLC Child Care Center is a great place to work and our staff longevity shows it! We are a STAR 4 accredited, non-profit center with over 40 years of committed service to our community. We have seven classrooms that serve children from 10 weeks up to 6 years, as well as a summer program that serves children up to 10 years of age.

We are looking for a well-qualified, experienced lead teacher for our Young Toddler classroom. Candidates should have flexibility with scheduling and especially be willing to work later hours. All candidates must have or be willing to obtain all PA clearances required to work with children - State Police, Child Abuse, FBI Fingerprinting, and NSOR.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years experience as a lead teacher in an Infant classroom. They will have familiarity with the Keystone STARs program, as well as all State requirements for caring for infants. CDA or Bachelor's Degree in ECE strongly preferred. Lead Teacher responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Writing and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Maintaining accurate assessments of each child.
• Building strong relationships with families.
• Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment for all children.
• Ensuring a well run, purposeful program that is responsive to participant needs.
• Supporting social and emotional development and providing positive guidance.
• Establishing positive and productive relationships with coworkers.
• Maintaining a commitment to professionalism.
• Engaging in respectful use and care of space and school equipment.
• Participating in recommended training programs, conferences, and other aspects of professional development.
