Used Car Mechanic Job at Tyler Run Auto Sales
Tyler Run Auto Sales is looking for an experienced Auto Mechanic/technician to maintain and repair vehicles at our service center. Our technicians are responsible for troubleshooting issues and fixing them aiming to maximum reliability and functionality. We are a small shop with a friendly, collaborative team. Pay will be based on experience and ability. No evenings or weekends required! Sign on Bonus offered!
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as auto mechanic
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles
- Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
- Ability to handle various tools (e.g. pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g. lift)
- Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc
- High school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferred
- Inspection and Emissions license strongly preferred.
- Valid certification (e.g ASE) is a definite plus

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
