Transportation Assistant Job at Majestic Care of Saint Anthony
Majestic Care is currently seeking a Transportation Assistant/ Bus Driver to transport patients/residents with in the facility as well as outside the facility via the facility van/bus.
In doing so they escort patients/residents from assigned rooms to and from vehicles and appointments as needed, drive facility vehicles to transport patients/residents to and from appointments, and report any incidents, accidents, changes in patient’s/resident’s condition, requests, problems, and complaints to nursing staff.
Qualifications:
- Must have a high school diploma, vocational training, or equivalent
- Prior experience transporting patient’s/ residents for a hospital or nursing home is preferred
- Must be able to operate a transport vehicle
- Must have a valid unencumbered driver’s license in the state of operation
- CNA certification preferred, in good standing in Indiana
