Job Title: Transport Route Driver

Shift: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Shift starts at 2pm. End of day varies based on daily workload. Possibility to cover extra shifts.

General Description: The Transport Route Driver is a member of the Operations Team and directly assists the Delivery Coordinator in the staging and transporting of orders to connecting drivers on a regular route from Eugene to Wilsonville. COMPANY CAR PROVIDED TO MAKE ALL DELIVERIES.

Post-offer, pre-employment drug screening and DMV check required. Valid driver's license required.

Delivery driver experience preferred.

Technical Skills Required:

• Working knowledge of the institutional pharmacy business.
• Working knowledge of the long-term care and community-based care business.
• Effective communicator, both verbally and written.
• Be an active listener.
• Possess good people skills.
• Work effectively in a team/group environment.
• Demonstrate computer literacy, especially with Windows and Web based applications and software.
• Be able to effectively manage activities and details.
• Have a good, safe driving record.

Examples of Duties:

• Comply with all federal and state laws, rules and regulations governing the practice of pharmacy and the delivery of medical equipment and supplies.
• Maintain a sanitary operation of the pharmacy in compliance with the appropriate laws.
• Organize and stage orders for delivery.
• Transport orders to connecting drivers on a regular route ranging from Eugene to Wilsonville.
• Deliver orders directly to facilities as needed.
• Maintain company vehicles in good working order.
• Drive in a safe manner at all times.
• Assist other pharmacy team members as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

Position requires the ability to stand and walk for several hours while processing orders, and sit in a vehicle for several hours while driving.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.

This is a part-time hourly position with some company benefits.
