Minnesota Jewish Community Center Minneapolis-Saint Paul, MN

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for meeting hiring goals and objectives, by seeking out quality candidates, confirming their qualifications, and placing them in open roles. Assists in the process to build brand awareness at Minnesota Jewish Community Center as an Employer of Choice. This position will work remote for approximately 10 hours/week and the qualified candidate will set their own schedule.

  • Source candidates using competitive strategies
  • Design and manage recruitment and selection processes (resume screening, screening calls, interviews etc.)
  • Create and continuously improve hiring processes for managers and HR
  • Review employment applications, complete references and background checks
  • Create reports on key talent acquisition metrics
  • Work closely with management, human resources department, and marketing to develop creative ways for addressing talent acquisition challenges, suggest new ideas for improving talent acquisition activities

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 1 + year of professional experience in human resources
  • Recruiting and interview skills utilizing phone, in person, and online meeting platforms
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities and demands, meet deadlines, prioritize, and work independently to accomplish goals and objectives of HR department
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and build trust
  • Ability to maintain the integrity and security of all confidential information, documents and files.
  • Commitment to equity, diversity, environmental stewardship, and social justice
  • Knowledge of Jewish culture and traditions, a plus

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
