LBX Company LLC, maker of Link-Belt excavators, forestry, demolition, and scrap/material handling equipment, has an immediate opening for a System Integration Project Manager.

Position Summary:

The System Integration Project Manager will be part of the Engineering team, reporting directly to the Director of Engineering, Product Quality & Product Safety. This individual is responsible for leading all aspects of collaborative internal/third party solutions integration including design, needs analysis, development, testing, implementation, validation, and ongoing support. The System Integration Project Manager will communicate necessary project needs to team members to ensure that all LBX machine technology and systems connectivity requirements are being met.

Essential Functions:

50% Manage development and integration of collaborative third party/internal solutions to ensure seamless integration with internal systems and construction worksite - responsibility breakdown estimated as: 33% Partner Facing, 33% Technical Engineering, 33% Business Analyst Required Skills.

20% Create technical instructions/engineering plans/integration documentation and timelines. Translate technical speak into terms that members at all levels can understand.

10% - Work with Platform Product Development manager, Manager of Innovation and Technology Integration and Manager of IT to coordinate and develop business plans for these collaborative solutions integration initiatives.

10% - Collect data/VOC related to implementing technology related products. Develop specifications/system requirements. Use software and system knowledge to transform customer inputs into succinct easy to understand plan recommendations.

10% - Debug/troubleshoot field issues with implemented technology and champion timely, effective resolutions with all partners as well as championing ongoing improvements.

· Experience leading multi-departmental and multi-company teams.

· Skilled at problem solving and conflict resolution. Ability to demonstrate self-control, candor, and maturity in high stress situations and/or in the face of strong opposition. Proven ability to persuade. Passion for tackling difficult problems with complex technical and political ramifications and proven ability to identify/implement solutions.

· Demonstrated vision to develop holistic product business plans.

· Exceptional interpersonal skills, focused on listening, building rapport, and asking information-gathering questions.

· Demonstrated ability to understand cloud-based landscape.

· Ability to analyze architecture and produce clear specification inputs that lead to designs satisfying customer and company needs.

· Skilled at both teaching and training, one-on-one and in a group setting.

· Ability to present ideas in a professional, business-positive, and user-friendly manner.

· Ability to balance multiple priorities based on business impact and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and changing environment; must be organized and flexible.

· Proficiency with software project management and defect tracking tools (e.g. Smartsheet, Freshservice).

· Basic understanding of modern software/hardware architecture and design.

· Hands-on experience integrating with web services APIs hosted in the cloud (Azure – preferred).

· Experience working with Telematics, Machine Guidance and Machine Control preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

· Minimum 7 years professional software integration experience.

· Experience with cloud development (Azure primary choice, Amazon Web Services secondary choice).

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google GSuite (Email/Calendar/Docs/Sheets/Slides).

· Experience with database design.

· Experience with scripting languages (examples: Javascript, Curl).

· Fluent in English.

· Fluent in Japanese and familiar with Japanese culture preferred.

· Proficiency with MS SQL preferred.

· Exposure to C#, .Net, JSON, XML preferred.

Supervisory Responsibility:

None, but leadership required.

Success Factors:

Strong analytical and leadership skills, effectively analyzing application and software connectivity activities and providing vision/direction to all team members to successfully integrate and connect machine related software/systems (Telematics, Machine Guidance and Machine Control, mixed fleet back offices and IT storage locations).

Travel Expectations:

This position requires some domestic and international travel for extended periods at times up to 30% annually, using different modes of transportation (auto, plane, etc.).

Working Conditions:

• This position requires spending time in a seated position while working at a computer station for extended periods of time. Work also requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, hearing, talking and lifting (up to 50 pounds).
