Deka Lash is one of the fastest-growing brands in the beauty business, specializing in high-quality lash extensions. Right now we are looking for an excellent leader to help us manage our studio in Newton, MA.

This is a Full-Time position. Be present in the studio 3-5 days/week, with opportunity to work partly from home.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team in an organized and efficient way ensuring operations runs smoothly (scheduling, staff meetings, team building, coordinate training, hiring etc).
• Provide excellent client experiences and exceed client satisfaction and expectations daily.
• Be sales oriented and motivated to meet and exceed monthly goals.
• Create and coordinate sales efforts for the studio (promotions, studio events etc).
• Maintain a friendly, but professional studio environment by managing guest concerns and questions, inventory, associates, and reports.
• Implement structure, policies, and procedures.
• Keep updated on Deka Lash training, procedures, products and promotions.

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Leadership skills, ability to lead and motivate a team for optimal operations.
• Ability to manage store operations independently.
• Demonstrate excellent conflict resolution and mediation skills.
• Ability to work with and coach diverse personalities.
• Must be a proactive and independent thinker and decision-maker.
• Demonstrate ability to embrace changing environments, as this position requires flexibility.
• Must have flexibility to work during peak times.
• Must be available on phone/email/messages when not in the studio.

Preferred, but not necessary requirements

• Previous experience in a high end retail setting, preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and/or studio software (MyTime), preferred.
• Cosmetology/esthetician license preferred.
• Previous experience as a Salon Manager or Salon Coordinator, preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,375.93 - $60,408.56 per year
