Urology ASC Scottsdale has an immediate need for a full time Sterile Processing Tech to join the team!
Job Summary:
The Sterile Processing Technician cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation and sets up supplies and instruments for Urology surgery cases.
Required Skills:
High School diploma or GED required
Computer skills, required
CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred
Six months to 1 year of experience.
Experience with all types of sterilizers.
Knows operating room instrumentation for a Urology setting.
Organized in setting up operating room instrument tray.
Understands operation of steam/ gravity sterilizer.
Understands Sterrad sterilizers.
Ability to prepare reports and keep records.
Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required
Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians
Arizona Urology Specialists complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date. If you receive an exemption from the vaccination requirement, you will be required to submit to regular testing in accordance with the law.
