We have immediate openings for Assembly Operators with lots of potential for growth. This is a great opportunity to work with a stable and busy cable manufacturing company with applications for markets such as aerospace, new energy, and defense. The Assembly Worker prepares, assembles, inspects, and tests cables, cable assemblies, connectors, and cable harnesses in accordance with product and process specifications. MUST HAVE SOLDERING EXPERIENCE.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00/hr DOE

1st Shift: M-F 6 AM-2:30 PM

Job Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate the assembly equipment, tools, and fixtures necessary to assemble, inspect, and finish cable assemblies.
• Set up and monitor assembly processes.
• Connect all sub-assembled parts build per customer drawing/work instruction.
• Work with electronic/electrical hand tools using drawings, wire lists, and technical repair standards.
• General soldering work w/good dexterity.

Skills:

• MUST HAVE SOLDERING EXPERIENCE.
• At least 1-2 years of Assembly experience.
• Must be able to read work orders, blueprints, and travelers and fill out paperwork.
• Able to use all hand tools (soldering, crimpers, heat guns, wire cutters, wire strippers, and hot glue guns or epoxy)
• Math skills and use of a calculator. Experience using precision measuring tools like calipers and micrometers.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift, pull, and push up to 50 lbs.
• Trade school, junior college certification inappropriate program or military specialist training is a PLUS
