The Opportunity:

We are looking for a SEO Front End Developer to join our team and work directly with our client, Adobe. Adobe.com is considered a top 100 website in the world by traffic. SEO plays a critical part of this ranking and is vital to the success of Adobe as a whole.

This role will implement front-end solutions to intricate SEO challenges for adobe.com. This role will work on core technologies like JSON-LD as well as leveraging existing front-end knowledge to help creators ensure their content meets internal metrics for good SEO practices.

The ideal candidate will live at the intersection of engineering, content creation, and modern SEO best practices. This role will work hand in hand with Adobe's world-class SEO team but will live as a part of the engineering organization.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

· Implement the full range of JSON-LD schemas Google and other search engines support.

· Work on core technologies like JSON-LD as well as leveraging existing front-end knowledge to help creators ensure their content meets internal metrics for good SEO practices.

· Become an expert in what it means to maintain performance in relation to SEO.

· Work with SEO to educate and un-block content migrations with existing engineering knowledge.

· Debug SEO-related issues that could arise as a result of Page Rank, client-side code, and much more.

· Scale, contribute, and maintain the SEO Preflight program to ensure content creators get immediate feedback about potential SEO issues.

· SEO platform migration support where errors or breaks are identified, and debugging is required for SEO health

· Work on projects within code base to further evolve and help build link automation connections and solutions

· Identify opportunities to build tracking capabilities for Schema, cross-linking, to measure impact through proposing scorecards and measurement methodologies

· Operational skills to well document projects and tasks, i.e. Atlassian Wiki, Jira, code creation, etc.

· Strong communication and collaboration skills

What is required to succeed:

· Must be knowledgeable of basic web standards (HTML, CSS, JS) – ES6 strongly preferred.

· React and other reactive frameworks (Vue, Angular, Preact) also encouraged.

· An ability to pick up concepts that may only be tangentially related to the problem domain.

· Must have basic knowledge of JSON.

· Understanding of CDNs.

· Understanding of basic testing platforms

· Adobe Experience Manager experience is a plus.

Nice to haves:

· Experience working with SEO

· Developing capability with SEO in mind, i.e. code cleanness

· Personally interested in staying up to date on technology that matters to SEO, i.e. ChatGPT, HREFLang, Robots.txt, etc.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $52.00 per hour

Schedule:
