About the role
Our client has built the world’s largest communication network for sharing Internet Connectivity and bandwidth, and aspires to be the indispensable networking software infrastructure for Web 3.0. We connect billions of people and trillions of smart devices for the future of the Internet. Founded in 2018, our open-source software is powering up to 170,000 servers globally. In addition to this community-run infrastructure, we built products such as nMobile (trusted chat) and nConnect (remote access) that specialize in privacy and security.
Our founding team has backgrounds in both data communications and blockchain, working for companies such as Google, Nokia, Qualcomm, and Baidu. We are looking for highly motivated pioneers to join our small team to rebuild the future of the Internet.
In this role, you will:
● Hands-on design, develop, modify, implement, and support software components
anywhere in the software stack.
● Continuously improve existing software stack as well as build entirely new products.
● Educate, support and partner with community developers both for enhancing
platform itself, as well as building applications on top of the our clients platform.
We’re looking for someone who:
● Has proven experience or strong background in at least one of the following fields:
○ Distributed system, preferably peer to peer network or distributed storage
○ Blockchain infrastructure, including ledger and consensus
○ Blockchain virtual machine, preferably EVM
● Experience in Go is preferred
● BS or higher degree in computer science, math, science, engineering or other relevant
major
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Bonus: you have worked in a dynamic and fast paced startup environment. You are
adaptive and fast learning.
