Shipping, Receiving & Mail Services (SRM) is a diverse and nimble team that supports logistics activities. We’re seeking an experienced logistics professional to support our Secure Logistics Team. In this role, you’ll pick up and deliver hardware to various sites, receive and organize inventory to Apple employees, and provide outstanding customer service. Our Shipping, Receiving & Mail Services team supports all activities at our various facilities. As a Secured Logistics Team Member, you will follow departmental procedures, deliver cages/material, follow safety protocols, input incoming deliveries into our inventory system and provide excellent customer service.
Key Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience working as a route driver, warehouse, mail facility or similar experience.
- Material handling skills, including ability to use motorized and manual equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Requires a valid driver license and at least 25 years of age in compliance with fleet insurance requirements.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with the following: scheduling or calendar software, logistics tracking software, experience with BearTracks is a plus, database software, experience with FileMaker Pro is a plus, Numbers or Excel, and Pages or Word.
- Ability to perform the following types of physical activities: Lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull to move equipment, bend/stoop/squat/kneel, and reach above shoulders.

Description
Daily activities include receiving and entering inbound material accurately into the department’s database, coordinating delivery with recipients, performing cage deliveries and updating inventory records. You will work with the Secure Logistics Coordinator to provide coverage for all the delivery zones and perform ad-hoc deliveries. Duties include, but are not limited to, driving 26” box trucks and Transit vans, package reception, hardware pickup and delivery, and monitoring the team’s group email for customer requests. You will provide exceptional customer service by communicating quickly and efficiently with customers and following up with your team and supervisor. You will adhere to best practices in order to efficiently fulfill all delivery assignments in a safe manner. Other responsibilities include creating and editing the team’s standard operating procedures, regularly reporting any challenges or issues, completing various warehouse-related tasks and other duties, as assigned.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $27.75 and $35.65/hr, and most new hires start at $27.75. Your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
