Job Summary
Newscape Studios, Inc has over 20 YouTube channels, with over 14 million total subscribers. We create content based on popular video games such as Fortnite, Minecraft, and original animations. Newscape also produces a vast array of videos for a young audience and creates content through animation and machinima.
We are looking to add talented and creative script writers to our team. The ideal individual will be comfortable conducting research on our content and characters, have great comedic timing, and understand character dynamics.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Create scripts 3 that are between 13-18 pages
- Conduct research on characters and content
- Open to feedback and comfortable making revisions
- Understands importance of comedic timing
- Create short scripts for Webcomics
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience writing
- Strong understanding of company culture
- Communicate effectively
- Great listening skills
- Comfortable in meeting deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Strong connection to nerd culture
Pay:
- Competitive pay: $100.00 a script
