Description:

Full-time School Social Worker position available for the 2023-24 school year, based out of Adel Office serving the Winterset District children birth to 5 years old and Earlham School District serving children birth to 21 years old. This position will have a 192-day contract and will focus on the provision of services for the identification, evaluation and educational programming of children ages birth to 21. Candidates should be able to provide services that assist parents and professionals in meeting the educational and social/emotional/behavioral and mental health needs of children and youth. The position will include Child Find responsibilities within a MTSS model.

Qualifications:

Candidates will need to have excellent teamwork, collaboration, communication and organizational skills. Candidates must be appropriately licensed/certified by the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners (or have the ability to obtain a license) and possess a master's degree in social work at the minimum.
