Kent Elastomer Products, Inc., a manufacturer and global supplier of rubber and plastics products is looking for a highly motivated Sales Support Specialist to serve as a direct link between the Company and its existing and potential customers.
Reporting to the Team Leader, the successful candidate for this position must be a friendly and passionate person who possess an expertise in providing solutions for our customers. The ability to establish trust quickly is essential to problem solving, developing long-term customers, and creating relationships based on loyalty beyond a product or service.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for handling in-bound sales and customer communication (calls/emails/web-leads) in the processing, expediting, and troubleshooting of customer orders.
- Process, via computer, all customer requests. Utilize multiple and often complex systems, programs, and monitors in order to process and research information.
- Researches and resolves customer issues, expedites back orders, handles returns and special requests. Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; aligning internal experts to assist with selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
- Proactively partners with sales to ensure regular communication on pricing and other customer concerns.
- Provides high-level, quality service, closely aligned with sales, to enable sales growth.
- Follows up with sales, operations, technical and customers on any outstanding issues.
- Looks for opportunities to provide solutions to new and past customers.
- Makes recommendations on areas for process improvement.
- Make decisions based on policies and past precedence, seeking guidance as necessary.
Accountabilities
- Achieving prescribed individual and company performance objectives.
- Follow an effective and efficient strategic customer care system.
- Measure and track activity and results through Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
- Preparing and hosting weekly one on one meetings with department leader.Ho CRM.

- Participate in Kaizen events which promote out-of-the-box thinking to achieve process improvement.
- Providing business insight and value to retain customers and ensure customer relationships.
- Retain and develop relationships with external customers at all levels to build organizational partnerships.
Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelor degree is very strongly preferred. In the absence of a Bachelor degree, equivalent, applicable experience in a customer relationship type role (sales, military, call center, etc.) is preferred. A background in inside sales would be a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite would be a plus, Excel is required.
- Infor ERP experience would be a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
