Done Deal Home Buyers is seeking to grow its portfolio by finding a strong closer to fill the role of Acquisition Specialist.

While we are located in Martinsville, our employees can work anywhere in Virginia or North Carolina. Please note: This is a 100% remote position and all employees must have access to highspeed internet, noise canceling headset, a working laptop in excellent condition, and a quiet workspace.
THE PROCESS (and your role in it!)
Our marketing department generates qualified leads by searching for motivated sellers and confirming their interest in selling their off-market property. Our Acquisitions Specialists (potentially YOU!) negotiates the purchase price and procures the contract of the property. Once you get a contract, you hand it off to our Disposition Specialists to market this deal out to our investors network and procure a buyer.
Here's your core responsibilities:
- Speak with sellers on the phone about the condition of their property (NO COLD CALLING!). You will only be reaching out to sellers that have already reached out to us and asked for us to call them.
- Negotiate contract prices with motivated sellers
- Utilize multiple online platforms to reach out to sellers and record call notes
- Underwrite contracts and walk sellers through signing the agreement
- Liaise with other departments to ensure a smooth experience for sellers and buyers.
WHO YOU ARE
Our ideal candidate is an ambitious, well-organized closer who has a deep understanding of sales and negotiation, plus a killer phone voice. They have extreme personal accountablity and have the skillset to work well from home. They are a top producer with a hunter mentality that loves to negotiate and isn't afraid to dial all day!
Here's what you need to qualify:
- Relentless Drive and organizational skills
- A working laptop, strong internet (not satellite), noise cancelling headset
- A 2nd monitor, preferred
- 1+ years' of sales experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- REI knowledge preferred, but not essential
- Experience in telephone sales preferred, but not essential
WHAT WE OFFER
- Work/life balance and company culture, even though we're remote
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm; Reps rotate an "on call" schedule
- Base + Uncapped Commissions (Compensation range: $60-90k/year)
