Our mission is to deliver fun! BLAST 7D is the world’s first fully interactive and fully immersive 7D ride. Taking everything you ever knew about 3D experiences and through our full motions seats, we add acceleration, motion, wind, and competitive play! Experience the thrill of flying, diving, jumping, and falling – all while blasting evil villains through different worlds, competing for the high score against up to 12 riders all while feeling up to 2 G’s of force! BLAST 7D has 5 different ride experiences to choose from that bring you never-felt-before excitement. From blasting robot cowboys in the old west to saving the world from crazy carnival characters that are up to no good, to Zombies to helping our cyberpunk superhero save Tokyo—there is a ride that fits all families and friends of all ages ranging from 4 to 104!

Ride Operator:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Ride Operator to not only operate the experience through unloading and loading of riders but also will be called upon to sell BLAST 7D tickets. Ride Operators must have strong communication and customer service skills. Ride operators must be enthusiastic, have positive energy at all times and have a genuine desire to want to see people HAVE FUN. The ride operator is an “on your feet” position and you will certainly get your “steps” in daily. If this exciting, dynamic, collaborative workplace is for you, then apply today!

Ride Operator Day-to-Day:

· Service - Maintain a friendly and positive attitude that excites customers about the experience.

· Operations - Assist customers into and out of the theater in a timely manner, while following specific procedures and understanding the schedule.

· Safety - Promote customer safety throughout their time, reassuring all policies are being followed. (seatbelts buckled, walkways cleared, no food, no drinks, etc..)

· Sales – Actively listen to guests to recommend the best experience possible. Improving their time at BLAST 7D.

· Additional Responsibilities – Cleaning/maintaining equipment and facility — Following the opening and closing procedures — Operating the POS while booking and rescheduling reservations.

Ability to:

· Stand or move about for up to 90% of your day while collaborating with your team.

· Exercise good judgment while staying focused and attentive throughout the duration of every ride.

· Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to focus under tight deadlines

· Must Strong communication skills

What we are looking for:

· Must be 18 years of age or older

· Weekend work hours are required

· High school diploma or equivalent (required)

· Exceptional customer service skills

· Confidence in face-to-face and on the phone communication

· Ability to resolve conflicts, to multi-task, and understand customer needs

· Friendly, upbeat, compassionate, and personable attitude

· Integrity, punctuality, and professional appearance

· Ability to work well within a team maintaining positive relationships

· Basic computer skills

· Average hourly rate - $15/hr.
