Third Space Builders is a Design/Build residential remodeling company focusing on custom kitchens, baths, finished basements, room additions, and exterior living projects. Current service areas include Hilliard, Delaware, Dublin, Powell, Upper Arlington, Worthington, Grandview, and Westerville.

Our Residential Skilled Carpenters are responsible for certain aspects of a project assigned to them. There is room to move up in the company for dedicated employees who invest their strengths and want to advance.

Responsibilities:

*Perform carpentry tasks with the highest quality of craftsmanship in the time allotted including but not limited to framing, flooring, cladding, trim, doors and windows, cabinetry, and painting.

*Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications to perform work activities.

*Communicating daily with and working under the supervision of the assigned Project Manager.

*Job site security, maintenance, and cleanliness

*Must have an iPhone, Smartphone, or similar arrangement to use our construction app for time tracking, complete and submit daily job logs, and pictures.

Qualifications:

*Well-rounded knowledge and ability to perform a variety of residential construction phases and components

*Must provide own tools and transportation

*Strong customer service experience and effective communication skills

*Organizational and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail and quality

*Valid drivers license

*Ability to safely lift and handle heavy construction materials

• Reading and interpreting blueprints
• Performing other trades (light electrical, plumbing, tile and granite, etc.)

• Knowledge of building codes and regulations
• Knowledge of job site safety rules and regulations (OSHA)
• Knowledge of woods and their uses and adaptability
• Knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment used in carpentry
