Research + Admin Temp

Location: Boston - Remote

Details: NMR Group Inc, an energy efficiency consulting firm in Somerville, is looking for temporary workers. This position will require individuals to conduct telephone interviews and perform other types of research and data analysis. It may occasionally require site visits of residential and commercial buildings in order to assess the efficiency of various building components.

The position will require a 20 to 40-hour commitment per week. The position requires a reliable home internet connection as well as a quiet space at home from or able to work at the Somerville office.

The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Contacting homeowners or business owners
• Data analysis
• Planning and coordinating work
• Conducting phone interviews
• Entering and QC-ing data
• Performing other research and data analysis as needed

Qualifications:

Required:

• Strong organizational skills
• Working knowledge of Excel/Word
• Previous survey or anaylsis work
• Good communication skills; respectful phone demeanor
• Must pass background and drug testing

Strongly Preferred:

• College education
• Customer service experience
• Interested in energy efficiency and sustainability (a plus)

Compensation:

• $25/hour

Start: February 2023

End Date: Summer 2023.
