Research Assistant -Student Service Job at Purdue University
Job Summary
Dr. Bukola Usidame is hiring a part-time undergraduate/graduate research assistant for a temporary position to work on collating a tobacco control policy database including policies and other related outcomes. Responsibilities include transferring and organizing data from multiple files and websites to usable Excel formats. This position entails working with a lot of numbers, access to some confidential files, and working entirely on a computer. The research assistant must be comfortable working with numbers and very detail oriented. Work will take place at Purdue University research labs in West Lafayette, Indiana. Work schedules may vary but the research assistant is expected to work not more than 10 hours per week. The rate of pay is $13-17 per hour, depending on qualifications.

- Undergraduate/ Graduate student at Purdue University
- Very detail oriented and organized
- Basic numeracy skills – very comfortable with numbers at the minimum
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently

- Previous research experience
- Strong quantitative skills
