BrightStar Care of Westfield & Summit is hiring an On Call Customer Care Manager to work remotely, staffing open shifts and handling all inquiries after business hours. You will not be required to work in the office, as this is a 100% remote position, but you must reside in NJ and be able to travel to the Westfield office for training.

The On Call Care Manager will provide excellent customer service while serving as a liaison between our clients and our caregivers. You will be handling all inbound after hour calls Monday - Thursday from 5pm - 8:30am and weekends starting 5pm Friday to Monday at 8:30 am. You must also be willing to cover the phones when the office is closed on holidays which include: New Years Eve, New Years Day, Good Friday, Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

The weekly pay for this position is $400.00.

Responsibilities

  • Customer/client care – effectively manages the customer care procedures and serves as point of contact for client/customer relations. Communicate with client and or family members, ensuring all needs are satisfactorily met.
  • Scheduling and care coverage – supports and uses all technology tools and resources to ensure proper business processes. Schedules staff to meet client care needs and minimize non-billed overtime. Re-staff all caregiver call outs and no shows in a timely manner. Resolve all scheduling issues.
  • Billing and coding management utilizing our internal scheduling system.
  • Completes the intake of new clients and informs potential clients of our services and reasons to utilize BrightStar over other agencies
  • Documents all activity in our internal company system and completes a detailed report at the end of each shift

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • Proficient in MSOffice (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Flexibility and good time management skills A MUST
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a staffing position. Home care experience is a huge plus as is customer service in a professional setting.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task & work independently is required.
