Fairhaven Treatment Center realizes the strength of our practice is our exceptional staff. We are currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN or a Licensed Registered Nurse - RN for a full-time position at our Cordova, Tennessee location.

The LPN or RN must have the ability to work in difficult client situations to oversee medical safety and wellness of clients under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or the Medical Director. Must have knowledge of first aid and emergency medical procedures. Must have knowledge of standards of nursing practice, possess strong patient care skills, good organizational and record-keeping skills. Must have the ability to work as part of a treatment team, knowledge of mental health issues that relate to disordered eating. Must be organized, detail-oriented and able to set firm boundaries with clients.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 3:00pm - 11:30pm

Requirements:

• Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee
• 1 year of mental health experience preferred but not required
• BLS Certification
• Must have venipuncture experience

About Fairhaven Treatment Center:

The Fairhaven eating disorder residential treatment program provides 24-hour clinical support for clients who desire structured, supportive live-in care in a program specifically designed for and dedicated to treating eating disorders. The Fairhaven Outpatient Center for Eating Disorders houses our eating disorder outpatient programs. Outpatient Treatment includes our Partial Hospitalization Program and Intensive Outpatient Program. Affordable, peer-supported housing is available for clients needing temporary housing while programming with us at the Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient levels of care.

Whether the underlying cause of your eating disorder is post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), trauma or attachment disorder – or you have a history of addiction or substance use disorder, or you have Bulimia Nervosa, Anorexia, or others, it takes courage to make the decision to seek help for your eating disorder.
