Regional Sales Manager (East Coast)

Ransom and Randolph is seeking an energetic, positive-minded, team-player to join in on the incredible growth we are experiencing! The Sales Manager (East Coast) is responsible for overseeing the sales in dental labs and investment casting markets. The manager is tasked to generate sales leads, build and maintain client relationships, make presentations, write sales proposals, attend trade events for marketing promotion and be the main point of contact for customers located in the East Coast. The team member analyses sales potentials/ leads to grow the customer base, customer needs, market opportunities and pricing of service and goods. Also directs, trains and supervises the sales team to maximize profit and attain sales goals.

What you will do:

  • Calls on customers (In Person, E-Mail and Phone) on a regular basis in order to identify & satisfy their needs that require R&R products and services
  • Prepares and submits required reports on activities such as sales calls, monthly reports & expenses to keep management fully informed
  • Prepares competitive and reasonable pricing and quotes that will attract customers to place their orders at the same time ensuring that the profit margin is maximized
  • Conducts general scheduled meetings & unscheduled discussions with staff with respect to current and potential customers that impact sales potentials/risks
  • Conducts general business development & planning (account strategies) in dental labs and investment casting market segments.
  • Informs R&R management of competitive market activities, products, pricing, marketing, etc., such information to develop effective R&R sales and marketing strategies
  • Coordinates and assists with technical and customer service personnel to resolve customer issues
  • Presents, sends and follow up on samples requested and for testing
  • Attends industry trade shows, expositions, and other meetings, to maintain and expand R&R presence in the market
  • Advocates professional development with respect to the sales function

Working Environment/Physical Demands:

  • Individual’s daily routine will consist mostly of administrative work with occasional exposure to the manufacturing environment, which may have some abnormal variations in temperature, unavoidable fumes, noise, and atmospheric conditions. Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment, including a respirator, must be worn in designated areas
  • Individual must possess the ability to perform light physical activity, to work with a computer up to 8 hours a day with hand/wrist motion & eye/monitor interaction, standing, walking, and sitting
  • The physical demands described are representative of those an individual must possess to successfully perform the duties of this job. What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field
  • Must have good grasp of economics and market dynamics, understanding of cost-to-serve, marketing, negotiation and customer service skills
  • Proven relevant experience of two or more years in the same field
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines with a high level of accuracy.
  • Have a positive attitude with a high level of accountability, personal drive, ambition, integrity.
  • Must understand how the work contributes and collaborate in a larger process with other departments.
  • Ability to travel (Eastern US)
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Ability to pass a drug screening
  • Ability to pass a background check
