Job Description: Quality Assurance Specialist

**Multiple positions available with varying experience/skill level

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports for various applications based on business requirements
• Develop test automation scripts
• Must be familiar with API test automation with tools
• Perform test automation using tools like Selenium, Xray
• Perform functional testing on various business components, modules and functionalities
• Perform other testing aspects such as system testing, regression testing, integration testing
• Validate that user expectations are achieved during the testing process
• Review and analyze user requirement documents in tools such as Confluence
• Identify and facilitate issue resolution with functional and technical groups
• Document the entire quality assurance testing process in test management tools such as Adaptivist, Jira and communicate the test results to the team constantly
• Work with other functional Testers and non-functional testers and collaborate with project manager, developers, business analysts and representatives from business units throughout the testing process
• Participate in the user stories review meeting, project sync up meeting and other meetings as required

Requirements:

• Clearance: MUST be fully adjudicated & maintain a Top Security clearance.

• Experience working with tools such as Confluence and test management tools
• Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
• Unix and SQL experience
• Excellent communication skills. Must be attentive to detail, highly organized, and able to multi-task
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), quality assurance life cycle and testing methodologies
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a highly demanding environment

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
• 2+ years of Software Testing experience with strong background and proven expertise in functional testing
