Advanced Regional Center for Ankle and Foot Care is seeking a person for multiple offices to work in our Patient Relations department. Duties will include but are not limited to check in/check out patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, collecting co-pays and data entry. This is a full time position with varying hours. Traveling to multiple offices is required. We offer PTO, health insurance and 401k package.
The successful candidate will possess the following requirements:
Prior medical reception employment is preferred but not essential
Some billing knowledge
Extreme attention to detail
Willingness to learn and follow office policy
Able to work with others, but can also function independently in remote offices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Update and maintain patient demographics and insurance info
Collect patient co-pays, co-insurance and deductibles at the end of the visit
Necessary to travel to other offices up to 2 days a week
Available to work between the hours of 6:30am-6:30 pm
Ability to adapt to changing schedules
Interest in growing into additional responsibilities or taking on new duties is a plus
