Paramedic Job at Guardian Ambulance
Responsibilities:
Provides Advanced Life Support including medical evaluation, treatment and stabilization of the critically ill and injured. Responds to emergency rescue situations involving potential loss of life or bodily injury. Maintains control, manages and directs patient care at the scene of a pre-hospital emergency and provides training and instruction to lesser trained personnel. Performs other duties as required.
Requirements:
» High school diploma or equivalent
» California Paramedic License
» Valid California Driver’s License
» Acceptable Driving Record
» California DMV H-6
» American Heart Association BLS (CPR)
» Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
» California Ambulance Driver Certificate (Driver’s Only)
» Driver Medical Examiner’s Certificate (Driver’s Only)
» Must be eligible for a Los Angeles DOT Permit
