Office Manager Assistant Job at Atlantis Food Services
Atlantis Food Services is a successfully growing food distributor in Union City, CA serving the restaurant industry since 2006 with a full line of food products; frozen, refrigerated and dry ingredients. We are currently looking for an individual to join our team as an accounting assistant to the office manager.
Responsibilities and Duties include assisting in:
•Recording and Processing AR/AP in the accounting system. This process requires you to have at least one to two years accounting experience, managing and working with accounts receivable and accounts payable. This also requires that you manage both with accuracy and paying attention to the smallest details.
•Purchase Orders: process purchase orders, ensuring that all requested P.O.s to our vendors are confirmed accurately and sent on time. This includes full email and phone communications with the vendors to ensure specific purchase order issues are resolved such as outs, booking appointments and ensuring credits are accounted for.
•End of Day Closing: You will be required to assist in performing this function in the system to close all open invoices for that day and accurately communicate with various personnel in the company to ensure, prior to closing the invoices, that customers receive the proper credits for all returns/ damages from that day.
- Customer Services: Having outstanding communication skills including the ability to reach out to customers on a daily basis with high attention to details
Requirements:
- Must be extremely detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills
•Very proactive, eager to jump in; notice tasks that need to get done and resolve independently.
•Extremely meticulous to details and can efficiently and accurately juggle and finish a variety of different types of tasks.
•A natural ability to connect and handle issues with customers, vendors, and personal issues with a confident and positive demeanor.
•Ability to break down complicated situations and communicate with clarity, both verbally and in writing.
•Ability to work with an extremely high level of accuracy and to be able to pay attention to all details.
•Flexibility and willingness to work within changing priorities, wearing multiple hats at once with enthusiasm
•Very computer savvy, must quickly learn our software system, have a strong use of email and must command fluently the English language, both verbal and written.
A plus:
•Bachelor's Degree in accounting/finance or management is highly preferred.
•Previous experience in food warehousing and distributions.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
