Nursing Manager (ER)- 15,000 Sign-On Bonus Job at Coast Plaza Hospital
A Registered Nurse with 24 hour responsibility for clinical and administrative management of nursing services for area of responsibility. The duty including responsible and accountable for coordinating and supervising the nursing care provided to patients on assigned nursing unit.
- Participates in establishment and implementation of Hospital and Nursing objectives and policies and procedures.
- Responsible for Human Resource Management, education and development of staff as well as Performance Improvement, regulatory compliance and budgeting.
- Supervises all employees within the area of responsibility.
Education/Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent preferred, Master’s degree preferred
· Minimum of 2 years of progressive management experience in clinical area
· Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in area of specialty
Licensure/Certifications:
· Current RN licensed in good standing by the California State Board of Nursing
· Current BLS for Health Care Provider card
· Area Specific certification preferred (e.g. NALS, PALS, ACLS, NRP, AB 508)
