The Ohio University College of Nursing invites applicants for a part-time or full-time faculty appointment for candidates with specialization as a neonatal advanced practice nursing. Our growing, nationally ranked online (#2) master’s in nursing (#7) program, DNP (#11) program and family nurse practitioner specialty track have been recognized by US News and World Reports. We are seeking faculty committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship, practice, and service. This is a 12-month tenure track, clinical track, or associated faculty position. Appointment and rank will be based on qualifications and experience of the candidate. Under the direction of the Assistant Dean for Graduate Clinical Programs, faculty will be responsible for teaching the didactic courses as well as the clinical supervision in the neonatal advanced practice specialty track in the Master’s and DNP Program. The program is fully online with some on campus intensives. Required Qualifications:

Doctorate Degree in Nursing; National certification as a neonatal nurse practitioner; Two years of recent teaching experience in a graduate nursing program is preferred; Two years of practice as a neonatal nurse practitioner with prescriptive authority; Current Ohio advanced practice nursing license (or license eligible)

By the start of employment, all newly hired employees must receive at least the first dose of a two-dose series or a single dose of a one-dose series COVID-19 vaccination. Individuals who choose a two-dose series vaccination must receive the second dose within 45 days of their start date. Proof of vaccination will be required at time of hire.
