Job Functions:
- Repairs or constructs all types of equipment throughout plant and office.
- Works from complex drawings, sketches, and verbal instructions given by the millwright foreman.
- Takes care of all mechanical breakdowns anywhere in the plant.
- Maintains and repairs all types of conveyors and elevators, filters, blowers, vacuum pans, screens, etc.
- Works from scaffolds and ladders.
- Does routine equipment inspections as assiged.
- Responsible for maintaining tools and equipment in good operating condition.
- May be required to do other duties related to the job.
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to work 3rd shift
- Journeyman card or equivalent experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Competent in the use of millwright and welding equipment
- Qualified in rigging and handling heavy equipment, brazing, soldering, and cutting
