Member Service Rep-CTC AM/PM Shift Job at Hiway Credit Union
Position Profile and Information
Serves as a subject matter expert on the full range of Hiway’s products and services, primarily working with members over the phone and through electronic channels. Our Contact Center is the heart of our organization!
Part time position offering Part Time hours with benefits, and the option to be partially remote following training!!
AM shift between the hours of 8am and 1pm
PM Shift between the hours of 12pm and 6pm.
Position has some required Saturday work between the hours of 9am and 12pm.
Essential Functions and Basic Duties
- Assists credit union members primarily over the phone, through online chat or other electronic methods
- Assists members with online banking services and troubleshooting
- Performs duties and responsibilities with regard to opening and processing changes on the following account types:
- Certificate Accounts
- Savings Accounts
- Checking Accounts
- IRA/SEP/HSA/CESA Contributions
- Q2 User Level 1
- Identifies and recommends products and services aligned with member needs
- Handles multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Processes transactions in a timely manner
- Handles internal and external member issues to ensure member satisfaction
- Backs up other departmental functions as necessary to ensure timely and accurate duty completion
- Establishes new memberships and seeks to maximize product and service usage
- Performs all duties and responsibilities with regard to opening and processing changes on savings and transaction accounts
- Ensures all legal requirements have been met when assisting members
- Actively cross-sells credit union products and services

Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk in a stationary position and working on a computer (70% or more)
- Constant Use of hands/fingers for constant use of a computer or other office equipment
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, or crouching to maintain files
- Ability to talk/hear/see to communicate ideas and information so others will understand, and to observe details at close range
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
