Medical Technologist, NE Campus - Houston, TX

REQUIRED SKILLS

• ASCP or AMT Certification in Medical Technology (MT) required
• Bachelors degree in Clinical Laboratory Science is required (MLS/MT)
• 1 plus years of experience required (May accept foreign education and experience if already certified)
• Must be willing to work Nights

• Seeking Medical Technologists with ASCP or AMT MT.
• May also consider MLT ASCP or AMT for bench tech positions only.

Position will require a variety of lab skills to include Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, Microbiology.

Positions are nights Nights. Schedules include 7 on/7 off.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in biological science (Equivalency Required for Foreign Education)

Licenses/Certifications: Medical Technologist (ASCP) or Medical Technologist (AMT), Certified MLS (ASCP or ASCP-International), Certified CLS (ASCP), Certified MLS (ASCP or ASCP-International)CM or ASCP Certification Eligible ASCP Certification Eligible: Bachelor’s degree in biological science AND

Successful completion of a NAACLS accredited MLS program within the last 5 years; or

MLT(ASCP) certification and two years of full time acceptable laboratory experience in Blood Banking, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Immunology and Urinalysis/Body Fluids in the U.S., Canada or an accredited laboratory** within the last four years; or

CLA (ASCP) Certification and a bachelor’s degree in a biological science four years of full time acceptable experience in in Blood Banking, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Immunology and Urinalysis/Body Fluids in the U.S., Canada or an accredited laboratory** within the last eight years; or

Five years of full time acceptable clinical laboratory experience in Blood Banking, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Immunology and Urinalysis/Body Fluids in the U.S., Canada or an accredited laboratory** within the last ten years

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,000.00 - $79,000.00 per year
