Job Summary
A very busy Private Practice Multi Physician office in Boca Raton, in need of a Medical Front Desk Receptionist.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Checking in patients
- Collect copays, deductibles, balances, and post payments at the end of the day.
- Verify insurances
- Requesting referrals
- Answer phones
- Patient’s messages/call backs
- Taking orders/call backs/consults from hospital
- Printing faxes
- Scanning records
- Service messages/consults
- All other duties assigned by management team
Qualifications and Skills
- Cardiology experience a plus
- Multitasking a plus
- Computer skills a plus
- Knowledge of EMR a plus
- Excellent telephone skills a plus
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate to our patients in a kind, tactful and professional manner
- Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations
- Previous Cardiology office experience a plus
- Team player
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
