We are looking for a passionate, driven and detail-oriented Medicaid Billing Specialist to join our team.

The Medicaid billing specialist performs all the duties associated with the efficient and timely collection and billing of Medicaid receivables in accordance with company policies. This position is responsible for all Medicaid, non Medicaid and other various billings for the agency. This person will assist the Accounting Manager in maintaining financial records of the agency relating to accounts receivable.

Responsibilities include but not limited to-

• Coordinating with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that all billing comply with regulations
• Collects attendance records related to units of service, billing documentation and contract data from each program
• Prepare bills and vouchers for various programs within the agency
• Initiates monthly medical billing by reporting services provided by agency into our billing software
• Responsible for the filing and maintenance of all billing documentation for each program
• Assist the Accounting manager with work overflow as necessary

Qualifications

Associates Degree in accounting, plus one year experience or High School Diploma plus 4 Years experience.

• Troy, NY 12180: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Medical billing: 1 year (Preferred)
