Marketing and Communications Coordinator will develop and execute internal and external marketing and communications activities to support company strategy.

Marketing and Communications Coordinator Responsibilities:
  • Review existing digital assets to ensure that SEO is optimized.
  • Create new content including online/social content, e-mail campaigns, video scripts, presentations, press releases, brochures and other communications with customer/ industry and SEO language top of mind.
  • Assist with maintaining the website to include updating content, enhancing features, and improving usability.
  • Daily social media updates and enhancements to support marketing strategy and optimize customer experience.
  • Assist with social media content publishing, community management.
  • Support content creation, editing, and promotion of “A Life in Construction” podcast series.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors to help oversee the creation, production and inventory of digital assets, literature, technical data sheets and tradeshow/event properties. This will require some data entry.
  • Support Trade Show and Events program with the planning and execution of tradeshows, customer-facing events and employee conferences, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and event objectives.
  • Assist team members with making presentations more visually appealing.
Marketing and Communications Coordinator Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or similar discipline.
  • Understanding of digital marketing and social media trends and best practices.
  • Proven project management skills in organizing multiple projects, schedule and manage outside vendors and deliverables.
  • Experience using website CMS tools.
  • Proactive personality that is empowered to take on tasks without specific direction from manager.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies and platforms.
  • Attention to detail; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with an ability to conceive interesting ideas for new content.
  • Knowledge of Marketing automation systems, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office is preferred.
