Manufacturing Customer Service Representative
Penn United Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative for our Production Operations team. In this role you would serve as the primary contact with our customers thereby acting in a vital role of growing and maintaining the relationships with our customers. You would also work closely with our manufacturing and quality internal teams as you facilitate team work across all involved parties.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative
- Perform the functions of processing orders, expediting orders, customer requests, shipping and invoicing documentation
- Conduct contract reviews
- Maintain a system of record keeping for customers and parts
- Be familiar with all assigned customer accounts including open orders, inventories, and backlog
- Monitor company email and voice messages and promptly responding to customers
- Assist in maintaining customer relationships through regular and frequent contact and communication
- Assist with special projects and campaigns
- Assist in resolving customer complaints in a professional manner and report them to Quality and/or management as required
- Relate well to the customer, think and exercise sound judgement, and act responsibly in the customer’s and the Penn United’s best interests
Qualifications for the Customer Service Representative
- 5+ years of prior customer service / administrative experience in a manufacturing setting required
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong writing skills, primarily in business communications, with a more advanced vocabulary and grasp of grammar and word use
- Solid mathematical skills
- Basic to intermediate ability with Microsoft Excel. Qualified candidates may be allowed on-the-job training
- Well-developed organizational skills
- Well-developed verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to take intelligent, decisive risks and professionally justify them as necessary
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent
