LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) Job at Canterfield of Ocala - Assisted Living
Canterfield of Ocala is a beautiful upscale Assisted Living community looking for a experienced 2p-10p nurse with every other weekend. Applicants must have experience in an assisted living, independent living, skilled nursing, or memory care setting and be willing and able to complete the job duties listed below. In addition, qualified applicants will have a current Florida nursing license to include up to date education requirements and current CPR certification.
Some weekends are required.
Required Duties
- Analyze, evaluate, and report the needs of the Residents appropriately
- Coordinate care, in cooperation with the Director of Nursing, ancillary health care providers, and other staff
- Provide health education services for Residents and their families
- Identify Resident problems, concerns, or issues and provide appropriate follow-up to ensure resolution
- Supervise and assist direct care staff and monitor effective service delivery during assigned shift
- Review Resident treatment and medication records to assure quality of care
- Verify physician orders, move-in/move-out information and initiate appropriate follow-up
