Logistics Assistant (Customs/Import) Job at Wholesale & Distributor
Hours: 8am - 5pm (Mon - Fri)
Responsibilities:
- Receive, review and process documentation for an assigned base of accounts, and process documents through the system
- Ensure documentation is accurately processed, distributed and released to carrier, forwarders, customers and agents in a timely manner
- Communication between overseas offices, agents, clients and colleagues
- Drayage: Tracks containers, finds supporting documents, and supports invoice reconciliation for the accounting department
- Direct to Customer: Monitor shipments & facilitate deliveries directly to customer; order processing & invoicing; provide status reports
- Coordinate inland door delivery with LTL and Drayage Companies
Requirement:
- Bilingual (Fluent in both Korean and English preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills (Oral & Written)
- Proficiency in MS Office products
- Acute attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Problem solving and analytical skills to review and compare data to identify inconsistencies and determine priorities
- Planning, organizing and managing time to handle multiple assignments concurrently in fast paced environment
- Ability to work in a team environment
