Strout Payson, P.A. is seeking a legal assistant for our Trial Group to work on family, criminal and civil litigation matters in our Rockland, Maine office. The ideal candidate will be a thorough, detail oriented person who cares to get things right and is a team player with strong interpersonal skills. Skill requirements for this position are:
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Writing skills including drafting correspondence, creating exhibits, completing court forms, etc.
· The ability to maintain accuracy
· Self-motivated with the ability to direct one’s own work
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office
· Strong internet research skills
· Prior executive assistant or administrative assistant experience is important. Experience in the legal field is preferred as this particular position demands a high level of assistant/clerical skills
