We have an amazing opportunity for a Landscape Foreman to join our Residential Design & Build division. You will lead and work alongside a crew to perform landscape services on residential estate properties. This is a working field position. You will work alongside your crew in the field 100% of the time.

ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to lead crews in the completion of planting, drainage, and other landscape-related projects.
• Ensures that work is being done in a safe and efficient manner and maintains excellent quality.
• Organize and direct crew members to complete approved work per superintendent direction.
• Report issues with jobsites, job tasks, vehicles, equipment, and employees to superintendent
• Track and report job time to superintendent
• Work with minimal supervision from the superintendent but know when to ask for assistance.
• Communicate crew needs, deficiencies, or concerns to superintendent.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

Minimum 3-5 years experience in landscape installation, irrigation, and site work. **PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE AT LEAST 3 YEAR MINIMUM LANDSCAPE INSTALLATION CREW LEADER EXPERIENCE LISTED ON YOUR RESUME. YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR POSITION**

• Knowledge of Plant Material
• Able to read landscape plans and drawings, layout a job site and order materials.
• Able to operate a transit, shoot grades and grade sites.
• Experienced in operating heavy equipment such as Skid steer loaders, Backhoes, Forklifts, etc.
• Experience in operating power tools & small equipment.
• Ability to drive a truck with a trailer.
• Valid driver’s license & clean Driving Record
• Capable & experienced in overseeing a 2-3-man landscape crew
• Good personnel skills and the ability to respect and get along with crew members.
• Bilingual in Spanish & English a plus with good communication skills
• Adept at solving unforeseen challenges that arise on Landscape Sites
• Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays and in emergency situations.
• Must be physically able to perform duties and enjoy working outdoors year-round.
• Ability to follow and execute instructions.
• Some basic computer skills

ROL + RESPONSABILIDADES

• Capacidad para liderar cuadrillas en la finalización de plantación, drenaje y otros proyectos relacionados con el paisaje.

• Organizar y dirigir a los miembros de la cuadrilla para que completen el trabajo aprobado según las instrucciones del superintendente

• Informar problemas con los lugares de trabajo, las tareas laborales, los vehículos, el equipo y los empleados al superintendente

• Trabaje con la supervisión mínima del superintendente, pero sepa cuándo pedir ayuda.

• Comunicar las necesidades, deficiencias o inquietudes de la tripulación al superintendente.

• Capaz de leer planos y dibujos de paisajes, diseñar un sitio de trabajo y pedir materiales.

• Experiencia en la operación de equipos pesados como minicargadoras, retroexcavadoras, montacargas, etc.

• Licencia de conducir válida y registro de manejo limpio

• Buenas habilidades personales y la capacidad de respetar y llevarse bien con los miembros de la tripulación.

• Flexibilidad para trabajar los fines de semana, días festivos y en situaciones de emergencia.

• Debe ser físicamente capaz de realizar tareas y disfrutar de trabajar al aire libre durante todo el año.

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
