Landscape Construction Estimator

The Landscape Construction Estimator is responsible for estimating landscape installation services for Parterre Garden Services. The Estimator will generate competitive and accurate project pricing. Success in this role is dependent on thorough understanding of high-quality construction processes, ability to establish and meet deadlines, and proven ability to develop strong working relationships with Landscape Architects, our Installation Team, and sub-contractors.

Job Requirements

• Read and interpret project specifications and plans to prepare comprehensive and accurate cost estimates.
• Present and defend estimates to potential clients.
• Collaborate with team members, landscape architects, clients, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
• Perform weekly follow ups with colleagues and clients regarding quote status.

Skills

• Knowledge of landscape/construction industry building techniques.
• Familiarity with building codes, laws, and regulations.
• Ability to understand and use blueprints and other project planning/technical documents.
• Capability to plan, prioritize and multitask with meticulous attention to detail within time constraints.
• Understand construction building concepts, scheduling, bidding, and estimating.
• Experience with Aspire software a plus.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of landscape, construction and estimating experience (required).
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in an industry-related field, such as landscaping, construction workeragement, architecture, engineering, etc.
• Strong and effective written and verbal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
