POSITION SUMMARY:

Employee is responsible for handling materials, candy, and producing product. They must set-up, change-over, and run lines and/or assist processing employees. They are responsible for sanitation, quality, productivity, and safety in their area.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

OPERATIONAL TASKS:

• Operate sugar scale system for nerds.
• Operate equipment to clean and pump liquid from pans.
• Operate powered pallet jack (walk lift)
• Load bags of sugar into kettles as necessary.
• Assist other Panners when loading and unloading product from pans using scoops and chutes.
• Move barrels from pallets to drum dollies and to lines that need sugar for nerds
• Perform usage/usage correction in GLOBE/SAP
• Cover break(s) as needed

· Vacuum hoppers in preparation for unloading candy.

· Replenish materials (sugar, centers, etc) using Globe/SAP.

· Perform inventory at the start/finish of shift to balance inventory.

· Maintain clean work area utilizing daily GMP checklists

· Each Shift should do two rounds of glaze and clean after each round.

QUALITY:

Employee shall follow all required GMP, quality and food safety requirements. In addition, employee shall notify their supervisor or other designated personnel of all quality or food safety findings or incidents.
