Iron Technician

Compensation for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.

Must have valid Drivers License

Essential Function/Responsibilities

• Clean, disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble iron and restraint system
• Knowledge of Flowline components.
• Rig up and rig down flowline iron and safety restraint systems on customer location
• Load and unload equipment at facility or customer location
• Transport equipment to customer locations
• Utilize forklifts and job cranes
• Test equipment for proper operation
• Complete paperwork as required
• Complete JSA specific to job tasks at hand
• Attend pre job safety meetings
• Assumes PERSONAL responsibility for ensuring the duties of their position are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in drilling and completions is preferred.
• Previous experience with FRAC and cementing is preferred.
• Willing to work long hours on a 10/4 rotation
• 1-year exp preferred
• Valid U.S. Driver’s license.
• Basic computer skills are preferred
• Given the nature of oil field service work, the ability to communicate effectively with others is necessary.
• Meet or exceed minimum customer requirements for fitness for service.
• A passing score on job-related tests and meeting task guidelines is required.
