Monsignor Slade Catholic School, located in Glen Burnie, MD, has an opening for part-time instructional assistant for middle school.
Job Responsibilities:
- Implements and supervises activities appropriate to the age level of the children in the classroom or group.
- Maintains confidentiality at all times.
- Maintains visual and auditory supervision at all times to ensure the safety of the children in the classroom, on the playground, and on field trips.
- Willingness to learn and implement instructional methods, strategies, and techniques to assist teachers in the education of students.
- Ability to exercise considerable patience, courtesy, tact, and good judgment in working with students, teachers, administrators, fellow employees, and parents.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree preferred
- Experience in a Catholic school setting is preferred
- Prior experience in an educational setting preferred
