Information Technology Assistant Job at Hines Trucking, Inc.
Computer programmer/technician to manage the installation and maintenance of computer hardware and software programs. Maintains, repairs, and upgrades network/data systems. Provides end-user support services. Must have knowledge of Windows PC hardware/software. Applicant should have an ability to work well with people and possess intense enthusiasm and desire to learn.
Required skills:
Communication, organizational management, sound analytical ability and judgment, initiative, and flexibility.
- Help Desk: Windows, Office 2010, O365, iPhone, Android.
- Basic Networking: IP, subnets, DNS, DHCP, intranet, e-mail, VPN
- Windows, Windows Server
- Ability to learn to install, administer, and support our applications
Preferred Skills:
- Linux, PHP (or similar language), programming, SQL basics
- MSSQL management
- Exchange and SPAM management
- VoIP Telephone System Management
Administrative skills for the mobile communications systems installed in tractors. Configuration and administrative skills for switches, routers, firewalls and virtual private network (VPN) between HTI and vendor sites.
