We are the copper-focused supplier to the Plumbing, HVAC, Construction, Industrial and OEM Markets and a market leader distributing globally from warehouse locations across the USA and Canada. Our manufacturing complex, located near Reading, Pennsylvania, includes a refinery, multiple casting furnaces, three tube mills and a 90,000 sq. ft distribution center.

Requirements:

Work in a Safe manner, follow Safety rules and documents, wear required PPE. Possess working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC’s & AC/DC Drives, Siemen’s PLC’s & Drives experience a plus, control and measuring devices, HMI’s, hydraulic systems, and Electrical test equipment. Must be proficient in using PLC and drive software and maintain software as far as upgrades and Rockwell activations. Ability to run electrical circuits and panels. Must be able to read and understand electrical schematics.

Responsibilities:

Inspect, repair, install and wire all electrical apparatus, devices and circuits, of any voltage in the plant or assigned areas.

· Required knowledge of following tools:

o Electrical testing instruments

o Power hand tools

o Soldering equipment

o Pipe benders and threading, safety devices, miscellaneous hand tools

o Lift trucks, cranes, man lifts.

· Knowledge of following material:

o All types and sizes of AC and DC motors, transformers, circuit breakers, rectifiers, electronic controls, control panels, starter, switches, lighting equipment, power distribution and control circuits, PLC logic and controls, conduit and fittings, wire and cable, hardware, insulation, solder, repair and replacement parts, etc.

Physical Requirements:

· Walking or standing 80% of the shift

· Some lifting, bending, pulling, and pushing required.

· Work in hot and cold environments

· Work in an Industrial Mill Environment

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma

· Graduated from an electrical technical school or electrical engineering program

· Minimum 5 years of experience preferred

· Attention to detail

· Must be able to operate mobile equipment including but not limited to forklifts and cranes

· Ability to organize material on machines as scheduled

· Must be able to work mandatory overtime as needed

· Must be able to work multiple shifts as needed

· Read micrometers, calipers and other measurement devices

· Ability to work in a team environment

· Basic computer skills

· Manufacturing experience preferred

Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
