Human Resources Generalist Job at RoadSafe Traffic Systems, Inc.
Human Resources Generalist is responsible for handling a wide range of human resources related tasks. This individual interacts with branches, employees of all levels, maintains organization, following policies and procedures, have a diverse background with recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee assistance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Administers various human resources projects, plans, and procedures for all company personnel and assists in development of company policies.
- Works with branches on a daily basis on various HR related functions.
- Assists with benefits administration including open enrollment, and communicating benefit information to employees.
- Assist with onboarding efforts for all exempt and nonexempt personnel from approving offer letters to I-9 and E-verify.
- Assists with maintaining affirmative action reporting and plans to conform with EEO regulations and various governmental compliance mandates.
- Assists branches with rehires and returned employees from seasonal layoff.
- Assists all employees with HRIS questions and provide support with all areas within the system.
- Assures branches are in compliance with all their Federal and State labor law posters with the use of PosterGuard services.
- Assists with reports, decisions, and HR functions in relation to established goals of the company.
- Recommends new approaches, policies to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the company.
- Maintains compliance with all federal and state regulations concerning employment.
- Performs other related HR duties as required and assigned.
